Hold on to the David Heart inside of You

im going to cut right to the chase with this one. the title is plain and simple. Hold on to the David heart inside of you. this is something Pastor Warren spoke on last night which really opened a lot of our eyes.

in 1 Samuel 25 it speaks about where, samuel has died. the one who was a covering for david, the one who kept david straight on the right path, he has died. the story gets to the point where david is becoming kinda king like.

david is going to kill the men who did something bad (i let you read what), and it talks about Nabal and Abigial. Nabal being not the smartest man in the drawer of tacks but he is a wealthy man, and he has a beautiful humble wife named Abigail. He didnt know who david was. he said, “Who is David, and who is the son of Jesse? There are many servants nowadays who break away each one from his master. 11 Shall I then take my bread and my water and my meat that I have killed for my shearers, and give it to men when I do not know where they are from?” this happened because nabal was supposed to greet david and basically give him sheep. now a servant of Abigail's tells her of davids plan, not only was he going to kill those men, he was going to kill Nabal too for him being the stuck-up man he is. when Abigail heard of this she decided to step in, risk her life, and plea to david to save her stupid husbands life, (not in those words).

so she goes to see David and brings him something of great value. and basically asks david to spare her husbands life. because in that time, women had nothing and if her husband died she would be given to another family member and live a life that God doesnt want her to. David spares his life. i believe because of this act of sencerity, david saw the heart of Abigail. the kind, loving heart. she would plea for this man's life even tho he treats her bad, has no repect for her, and is just a flat out jurk. that is truly having the love of Christ for someone. loving even tho they shouldnt get it.

at this time as well was when david almost turned into something that God didnt want him to be. he had for a second forgotten the heart of love that God had placed inside of him. so david spared nabal's life. when abigail went and told nabal that david was going to kill him yet she asked for him not to, nabal freaked out, paniced, and pretty much had a heart attack like thing. he fell into a coma like state and died. he died anyways. see God had other plans for this. david heard of this, and had abigail brought to him. he saw her heart and loved her. david married abigail. not only to save her from marrying another family member but i truly believe that she was the one woman he really loved. she protected him from becoming a cold hearted man at that time.

the heart of david is kind, humble, loving to others, strong in the Lord, submmiting to the Lord's voice. for a second he forgot that. but God placed an abigail in front of his path to keep him in that heart. it almost failed but when God steps in, he kept that heart.

the message spoke on was to not let go of that David heart we have. sometimes we do things that make us a Nabal, (we dont become a nabal even tho we think so, some people do). but we really have a david heart that has forgotten the love that we once had for others. sometimes God will use us as an abigail for a david who is acting like a nabal. sometimes God puts a abigail in our path. ask yourself, which heart are you? check yourself today and see what has happened to that David heart you had. its there, just buried under the ice a little. allow God to melt it and grab a hold of that David heart you know is inside of you. dont let it go, but to let it go enough so God can work. be someone's abigail today if you have a nabal in your life. if you are a nabal, let God change your heart and become a david 's heart again.

i love you guys and i pray this checks with your heart today. God bless

The Heart of a Queen

Hey this one is for the ladies. (sorry boys). i was watching the movie One Night With the King, it is about the story of Ester. how a jewish woman became Queen so Susa, but if you truly look at her heart, and read Ester in the Bible, you will see that she had the heart of a queen before the world gave her the position. you know how and why? because she loved God, she was a daughter of the most high God.

Ester's real name was Hadassah, meaning "myrtle tree" Isaiah 55:13, they used myrtle trees to make wreaths for nobility. Hadassah has the meaning of noble in it. to be noble can be to have moral standards. some people see it as having a higher rank, to have stature to their life.

Hadassah meaning Noble, before she was even made Queen, she had the heart of a noble person. she was kind, sweet, loyal, strong, confident, humble as well. she had the heart of a queen.

ladies, let me ask you this question: do you see yourself as a queen? or just a pesent? (i mean that in the nicest way). see the bible says that when we come to Christ we are joint-heirs to Father God. we are His children. children of the Most High God. nothing can take that away from you, except yourself.

to have the heart of a queen we must believe we have it. be kind, slow to anger, loving, loyal, submmisive to the Holy Spirit, let us look at ourselves as a princess first to God the Father yet have the heart of a queen. you might not feel like it. you might think that your ugly, stupid, selfish, but you must not think so little of yourself. yes be humble, but still be confident in yourself. love yourself. believe me if you truly believe you are beautiful you will be. speak it over your life. and one thing; when you believe in your heart youre beautiful and you have the heart of a queen; whatever is in your heart will show on the outside. the way you carry yourself shows what is in your heart. praise God though.

you are a beautiful, kind, loving Princess of God, and its time to start acting like it. always remember that we are Royalty, we are God's Heirs, His children. love yourself, and love others. love God, for when you truly love God you learn to love yourself and others. ask God to change your heart to what He loves and what He hates. He is the King, He has the most amazing heart you will ever come across. Allow Him to teach you how to have the heart of a queen, and a servant. for we must be a servant first before we can learn to lead. Praise God.

i hope this checks with someone's heart today. God bless

The Desires of Your Heart

Psalm 37:4 "Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart."

what does this really mean to you? you might think "hey this says God will give me what i want!" yes God will give you what you desire to have, but somethings what will they give you? if youre asking God to give you a woman to be with, where is your heart on that? do you want her now? or are you willing to wait on the Lord to give you the desire of your heart?

please dont get me wrong with this. i love this verse in the Bible. its gives me hope and faith to know that God is on my side and knows my heart. He knows what i want in life. but i strive to have my desires the same desires that God has for me. yes God desires too. but see i also want to do everything in accordance with His will. and only His will.

see if i were to take that scripture and say, "well God says He will give me what i want." my life wouldnt be happy, would be destroyed in a way. for example: if i want a husband, but if i did it in my own timing, in my will, saying its God's will, then that relationship would be all wrong because it wasnt what God willed for my life. i said this the other day to a fellow brother in Christ who was talking about this subject, and the Lord had me share that yes, if we want God to do something, but sometimes He is telling us, "wait, let Me do it, please wait." but we dont listen and are like "No God i want it now!" i can honestly say God will give it to you. He will be like "ok go ahead and do what you want. ill give it to you." but what happens when we dont wait on the Lord and let Him be in control? we fall flat on our face. believe me i know i have been there time and time again in the past. the most recent was this past year, where i wanted something so bad, i was saying it was God, but my hands were in it, so what happened? i fell flat on my face and the thing i wanted was so broken, it only took giving it fully to the Lord to heal and bring full restoration to it. i have always said that with things like that in life, you live and learn. believe me i lived, and i learned.

what i pray for my life now, now that i have learned, is that God will give me the desires of my heart as long as it is in His will. if i start to want something for life, but God doesnt, He has full permition to not do it. im not going to tell God to give me something now if He doesnt want me to have it. (does that make sense?)

i never want to step off of the path God has placed in front of me to walk in life. yes God will give you the desires of your heart, but what are you desiring? see when we pray to always be in His will, always be yielded to the Holy Spirit's voice, always listen to what God has to say, the desires of His heart become our desires of our hearts. we want what God wants for us. now He is a Father so know that He only wants the best for us. isnt that just awesome to think about? God is so good.

i charge everyone today to pray that kind of prayer. to add it to your "God give me the deiries of my heart." add "as long as its in accordance with Your will for my life." believe me when you do, its just awesome to watch God work. now God does have three answers to every desire, prayer, question we have: "Yes" "No" and "Wait"

that last one is the hardest i know. but when you actually listen to it and let God do the work, there is just more joy in your life.

finally i wanna say what the verse means to me truly. "Delight yourself in the Lord," means to seek the Lord, love the Lord, love what He is doing in your life. delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the disires of your heart. no one else can fully give you the desires of your heart. only God can. you may try to fill it up with false desires from this world thru; lust, gambling, benge eating, music, movies, stuff like that. but those things will fade away, the Love of Christ will last forever, for all eternity. so i will continue to delight myself in and only in the Lord Jesus Christ. for only He can fill the void inside my heart that the world leave me with.

i pray this checks with someones heart today. check yourself and see if you are in the will of your Father. His true will. i love you guys. God bless

Chasing the Heart of God

Let me ask you this; what are you chasing after today? do you look around at your world today and go after the temporary things, or are you looking for the things of the eternal? the Word of God says; 1 John 2:17 "And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever."

what is this lust you might ask. lust can be anything that you want in your heart that is not of God. like you see a woman and you want her body, but the bible says that if a man looks on a woman with lust in his heart he has already commited adultry with her in his heart.

lust can also be wanting something like wanting to drink all the time, wanting a certain car, (yes even that), the want of something with so much desire when it is not of God is lust in our hearts. it can as well be a form of coveting.

but you know what i love most about the Word of God? when God speaks a scripture amd it first has a command, or a part that convicts the heart, God always counters it with Grace. people might get sad at first, if they love the world, with this scripture. "the world is passing away, (the world will die), but he who does the will of God abides forever." those who come after God and do His will for their life will have eternal life. think about it, if you just do God's will for your life with the right heart behind it, you will live forever in eternity, heaven, the new world after Christ comes back. to live forever! wow! thats amazing.

when we chase after the heart of God, when we desire to get closer to His heart and learn His will for our lives, it is the most amazingly happiest time ever. there is peace when you are close to the Heart of the Father.

im sorry for this being short but straight to the point, what are you chasing after? your worldly desires or the desires of your Father's heart for you? its your choice, its your own conviction. what are you going to do? think about it, truly think about it. what are you chasing?

i pray this touches with someone's heart today. love you and God bless

Who is Your Lover? (read with catuion seriously)

This post is going to be kinda serious and right to the heart. its something God placed on my heart to say but know its very serious. has to do with relationships and love.

short testimoney first: to share some about my previous experience in this area, i really dont have any when it comes to boyfriends. i am happy to say i have never had a boyfriend, never had a first date, never had a first kiss (Praise God). i used to think that it was bad to not have had any of that. (before i was saved). and its kinda funny now when i think about it, people really used to ask my why i didnt have a boyfriend. why hadnt i had anyone by my side. i used to say, "i dont know, why dont you ask the millions of guys who think im ugly." really i used to say that. that made me not like myself. growing up i wasnt the best looking girl around. i used to think i was really ugly. long hair that i couldnt do anything with, too tall for anyone, pimples all over my face, (my face was red most of the time), and i dressed like a boy. i was a tom-boy growing up. played basketball, i was weird. i can say that i have had guys like me, but always the ones i didnt think were cute, or i thought they were weird in some way, (got totally humbled in that area). but i always turned them down. i was an automatic reaction with me. i didnt know why then. cause when youre that young a girl would think, "oh a boy likes me yay!!"

looking back its so precious that i never had any of that. when i think about it, God was really protecting me and keeping me pure for my husband. now that im older, i have so much respect for those who are completely pure with Christ. i mean like me, (i mean that in the most humble way). never had boyfriend, no first kiss, my husband is going to get to experience all of my firsts. thats really exciting! im so happy to say that i dont have that baggage to carry into a marriage. Praise God. now that i am walking with Lord, when i came to Him, i walked down that isle and married my One True Love. Jesus Christ. it might sound weird to some, (the bible does say that the world sees the things we do as foolish), but i am married to Jesus. He is the Lover of my soul. the One that i will spend eternity with. so im thankful for God keeping me completely physically pure. i not only praise God for that, but i now have a new outlook on myself. i know sometimes i still say that im not pretty, or stuff like that. but God is still changing my heart towards myself. in Christ im beautiful, in Him im an amazing woman, (so humble, so humble the Word says that a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised, and that a woman is more presious then dimonds or rubies. i believe that and stand on that as a woman of God. as a daughter of the most High God. PTL!

side note: i want to stress tho that it isnt just about keeping your body pure, it is also a mind and heart pureness that we need to obtain in our lives. i can say that my thoughts havent always been pure in God's eyes. also in my heart. we must keep our eyes on the things of God and not the things of this world. when you think something, then you believe it in your heart, its not too long till it can become an action. say a man looks at his girlfriend, he likes what he sees, then he could develop thoughts with her in them, next is he wants to do those things with his heart, or it doesnt even have to hit his heart to become an action. but then it becomes an action because he wants it so much. next thing you know the girl is like, "what did we do?" and thats one of the worst situations you can let yourself get into. so not only check with your physical purity, it starts with the mind and heart.

ok getting to my point. i want to ask, who is your Lover? who have you decided to give yourself to? when a guy and a girl give themselfs to each other thru sex, or even just a relationship, it creates a soul-tie. you have tied yourself to that person in one way or another. especially when it comes to sex. for when a woman has sex for the first time, she bleeds and that is a blood covenant. and a covenant cannot be broken in the eyes of God. its a promise. so if that girl decides to give herself away and makes a covenant to that man, she is forever bound to him.

but here is the good news when you come to Christ, ask for forgiveness of sins, (for having sex before marriage is a sin in the eyes of God. lust in the heart is as well. the bible says that if a man even looks on a woman with lust in his heart he has already commited adultery with her, and adultery is one of the ten commandment of what not to do). no matter what you do, no matter who you have hurt, others, yourself, no matter what, come as you are to the cross and God will forgive you of all sins. cast them into the deepest ocean. but here is the thing when you come to Christ. dont just come to only be forgiven. there has to be a realness in your heart. the bible says to believe in your heart and confess with your mouth when you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. when you do that, there must, and will be a change in your heart, in your ways. Jesus said it best in John 8:10-11 “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” 11 She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” there it is plain and simple, "Sin No More!" this woman turned from her ways after she was forgiven. Praise God. so for those who have had soul-ties in your life, there still is hope. there is always hope in Christ, Jesus.

ask yourself, "who do i have a soul-tie with?" God can and will forgive you if only you ask. truly asks for it. also ask, who is the Lover in your life? is it things of this world? or is it Jesus? you decide.

i pray this checks with someone's heart. i love you and God bless
